Our Voice Matters! Current Practice, Challenges and Opportunities for the Participation of Children with a Parent in Prison in the Dutch Context

This report examines current practices, challenges and opportunities concerning the participation of children with a parent in prison in the Netherlands. Drawing on desk research, interviews with professionals and participatory activities with children, it identifies barriers to meaningful participation and presents recommendations for integrating children’s views in prison policy and practice.
